As it seems, the present situation of tourism in Nepal is pretty much more stable. The number of tourist arrival has grown immensely as compared to the last two years or so in the Himalayan nation. Till the October of year 2022, more than 400000 tourists have already visited Nepal for tours, leisure and other recreational activities.

The number of tourist arrival throughout the year 2022, is likely to reach the mark of 600000, including the remaining two months. This is the highest number of tourist arrival in a single year since the corona virus outbreak. The tourism industry of Nepal which did suffered from neck to toe has finally found a strong grip to hold after a couple of years.

Nepal did reach a mark of 1 million tourist arrival just before the coronavirus outbreak. This was one of the major achievements for the tourism industry of Nepal. However, things went haywire as  the virus did cut sort of everything in the tourism and hospitality industry of the nation. If it was not for covid, Nepal was all ready to start the tourism year with an aim of bringing 2 million tourists in a single year.

Now with a mark to achieve 6 million tourists in the year 2022, the tourism revival of Nepal is going pretty much smoothly and the tourism industry of the country is finally getting alive.

Adventures

Moving on, the trekking trails are getting crowded once again as tourists from different parts of Nepal are finally arriving for the thrill of off-the beaten path treks of the mountains. Mardi, ABC and Langtang trekking trails are getting popular once again. The trekking permits are easily available as usual and the mountains are open for trekking

Besides trekking in the highest mountains of Nepal, the adventure sports on some of the most popular destinations of Nepal are crowded once again. The likes of Famous Celebrities like Bear Grylls has been seen doing Bungee jumping in Nepal recently.

Talking about celebrities, popular vloggers from different parts of the world have visited Nepal this year. From Harald Baldr, Sam Chui, Madina Ash are some of the few popular vloggers to recall. Some of them are still exploring the culture and enjoying the vibe of Nepal. Well, they played a major part in introducing Nepal to different corners through their vlog. Not only the food, culture, adventure and beauty but they have also shown the present situation of tourism and Nepal as a whole to the world.

Covid situation:

The covid situation of Nepal at present is as relaxed as it can get. With just a handful of case, there is no immediate threat from the virus for now as it seems. Well, having been through lockdown, quarantine and everything, we all know what to do and what not to when it comes to health protocols.

However, there was a dengue outbreak which caused some problem during the summer (few months back). Now with winter, the mosquitos will be gone and dengue might not be an issue for the visitors. Therefore, tourists have nothing to worry about for their health throughout their trip.

Visa:

Nepal has always been providing on-arrival visa for the tourists which can be easily available at the Tribhuwan International Airport entry point. This process was halted during the lockdown after the covid outbreak but now the on-arrival visa service in Nepal has already been resumed. So, no more quarantine and visa restrictions for the visitors.

Traveling:

Traveling internally is smooth and normal now without any difficulties. The means of transportation are easily available to travel throughout the country. On top of that, tourist destinations around the country are all ready to welcome the tourists.

All in all, the situation of the tourism industry of Nepal is much more stable and convincing at the moment.
