All sorts of tourism activities in Nepal to resume from mid-November.

Various news sources have reported that the all sorts of tourism activities might resume from the mid November in Nepal. As of now Nepal is partially opened for tourism both for domestic as well as international tourists.  While the international flights has been resumed for a while, foreign nationals were allowed to visit Nepal from last month in October for tourist activities and that too only for trekking and mountaineering.

Different tourism activities in Nepal has gradually come into operation since the announcement of the Nepal Government to resume the tourism in Nepal. Now the tourism minister of Nepal has made an statement regarding the resumption of tourism activities from mid November. These tourism activities are set to carried out by strictly following all the health and safety protocols.

But the news about permitting the foreign nationals to visit Nepal for leisure and holiday purpose apart from trekking is yet to come.

While the tourism activities might resume in full throttle, the news and the decision regarding the permission for the foreign nationals to visit Nepal fore leisure purpose is yet to arrive. Only for the trekking activities, Nepal Government has permitted the international tourists to arrive in Nepal.

On the first month since the resumption of trekking activities for international tourists, the Himalayan nation did see an arrival of handful of tourists. This certainly seems a positive part for the tourism industry of Nepal as a whole for now.

However, these are the uncertain times and the decisions and plans are going south like never before. While we can expect tourism to resume from mid- November in Nepal, we can not be sure about it despite the decisions. I read in a news article that, many tourism entrepreneurs believe that the arrival of tourists and tourism might not normalise until 2022 and rightly so because looking at the current status, the Covid-19 situation is not getting any better.

Domestic tourism providing a much needed boost for the tourism industry of Nepal as a whole since the resumption of tourism in Nepal as the international tourists are yet to be permitted to visit Nepal except for trekking.

Moving on, the domestic tourism in Nepal has different story as the number of tourists are gradually increasing throughout the nation. While the capital has already seen a regular visitors at different tourist sites, other parts of the nation has also seen a huge flock and arrival of domestic tourists. Maybe a slight motivation but this definitely will boost tourism industry of Nepal as a whole.

Adventure sports like Bungy and Zipline has a massive offer and discounts in this festive season amid pandemic.

On the other hand, different companies have started giving massive discounts and huge offers for the adventures sports like Bungy, zipline and so on for a limited period of time. The cut prices in the festive season might definitely boost the involvement of  domestic tourists. After a 8 months of standstill, there adventure sports which has always been popular among the tourists both domestic and international is once again aiming to push the tourism of the nation.
