Walkabout with Anil Chitrakar' a must check short video series about the heritage of Nepal.

The video series might not have gained a lot of popularity but is something really interesting to learn about Nepal. It could also come handy for the tourists who plan on visiting to Nepal  as to know about the heritage, cultures and maybe the next  destination in Nepal that they want to witness live. 

Walkabout with Anil Chitrakar is a short video series presented by Nepali Times (the weekly English magazine of Nepal) and hosted by the man himself Mr. Anil Chitrakar. The video generally lasts from 6 to 10 minutes where Anil goes around different locations that holds historical values, heritage sites, monuments and more. He then shares his knowledge about the stories, legends and the history about that place or that monuments. 

The video series is posted on the official YouTube channel of Nepali Times. Till the date, six episodes of the video series has been released on the YouTube channel where they have covered about the famous gaijatra, Manjushree, Emperor Ashok and many more. The language used by the is in English which makes it easy for the foreigners and the video has English subtitle as well so there would be no issues if any foreigners are interested to watch. 

This the something really important programme that Nepali times has come up with. The English weekly newspaper published in Kathmandu has tried something unique with their video series. Moving on to the host, Anil Chitrakar is a social entrepreneur and a heritage expert and lover for sure. Many Nepalese might already know him from that old video where he shares his knowledge about the history of Nepal and the changes that once went viral in the Facebook. Anil definitely is an inspiring personality. The video series with his knowledge is something that you do not want to miss.
