Tribhuwan Intlernational Airport gets ready for the safety of travelers

Traveling is one of the most restricted things in 2020 due to the spread of corona virus. There was a travel ban all around the world for certain time period. As of now, traveling has started to get a little more common. Nepal is set to resume the commercial flights very soon and the tourism industry is preparing to welcome tourists and travelers to Nepal.

Tribhuwan International is getting all ready to provide a safe environment for the tourists who travel to or from Nepal. The normal flights have been suspended since March 22. Only the chartered flights for specific purpose are operated with permission. Now the regular flights are set to resume soon. The only international airport (TIA) is getting all ready  for the things to come as they work on to adopt new safety protocols.

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) shared a short video of TIA where they showed small details about everything from arrival to departure. There are marks to maintain social distance while waiting on the line. Hand sanitizers are kept in different places. Masks and gloves for all the workers and staffs working in airport seems must. Workers and security personnel also using the protective suits as seen in the video. From the ground personnel to the aircraft attendants, everyone seems to be following the health and safety protocols.  Apart from that, it seems there is a slight change in the interior of the airport building. It looks more neat and clean.

However, TIA is one of the smallest international airports in the world. The airport used to be quite crowded before the pandemic.  Well, there will definitely be more travelers than now after the commercial flights resumes but by looking at the steps TIA has taken, it seems they are prepared  for it. There is a high chance of transmitting the virus while traveling. So airlines and airports are working hard to create a safe environment for travelers during their travel.
